Our sizing is Australian. Forget about European, American or Chinese sizes. Just follow our tips and you should get the perfect fit first time.

• Have a friend help you take the measurements as it is difficult to get accurate measurements on your own!

• Use a flexible measuring tape. Not a builders tape or ruler!

• Consider whether you will be wearing the jacket in summer, winter, or both.

• Take into account any clothing you will wear underneath your leather jacket or vest. Wear this clothing while taking measurements.

• If you intend to wear a back protector or kidney belt, measure your size while wearing these items.

• Add about 5cm (2”) to your chest measurements for a comfortable fit.

• A tight jacket or pants will restrict your movement while riding and can result in aches.

• Wearing leather gear that is too loose can result in wind flap or ballooning. Your safety can also be reduced in the event of an accident.

• Choose a jacket that is big enough for your chest but also big enough for your belly (if you have one). If you have a tummy, choose your size according to your largest measurement chest/waist.

• Most jackets are made with the waist about 12cm (5”) smaller than the chest measurement. An exception to this is the Brando jacket which is not smaller at the waist.

• Your shirt or trouser size will not necessarily be the same as your leather size. Just because you wear an XL t-shirt doesn't mean you will take an XL jacket.

• Measure your chest with the tape just under your armpit and your arms by your side. Then take a breath and check your size.

• Take your waist measurement at the belt line (where your pants sit when wearing a belt). Don't suck in your gut because it is hard to ride all day while doing this!

• Sports and race jackets are usually cut shorter in the body and are to be worn snug against the body.

• Touring and Cruiser jackets are usually bigger in the body and are a looser fit.

These are your body measurements, not the actual size of the garment. Measure yourself according to the diagrams shown below.
